The Vimala System: Character building through simplified handwriting

The teaching of cursive is becoming a lost art as children are rushed to computers. Computer technology will be easy enough to learn later. Cursive is recommended for building self-control, focus, comprehension, stimulating critical thinking, language and working memory and many mom’s interest – speed and efficiency on the SAT’s, and the list goes on. The program we recommend is actually not the classic D’Nealian approach schools use as it promotes self-involvement. Rather we recommend the Vimala System as it is a handwriting system that is proven to build character such as integrity, confidence, kindness and responsibility and strengthen capacities of self-image, self-esteem and lighthearted attitude.
